Belle Holder is a passionate media professional with a very diverse resume. She began her media career in Canada in radio, newspaper & television before returning to her native Barbados in 2005. Upon her return home she became a television host and producer with the national broadcaster CBC, and quickly became the darling of morning television as co-host of Mornin’ B’dos.
Belle’s career highlights include:
- Being surveyed as the number one television personality several years running.
- Winning a Barbados Music Award (BMA) for Media Excellence.
- Winning four Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) awards for her television and radio productions, Real Men Dance, The River Speaks, Green Living and Explore Dominica.
From 2006 to 2008 Belle hosted the Eastern Caribbean wide singing talent search Digicel Rising Stars.
Outside of her work commitments, she is a media champion for people living with disabilities and wherever possible lends her voice and energies to this cause.
The devoted wife and mother of two, lives and works by the motto, ‘Feel the fear and do it anyways!’
